RS485 Monitoring

Application Scope

Purpose of the RS485 to RS422 converter or RS485 monitor is listening/monitoring to an arbitrary RS485 bus by ADS2 without interfering with the bus communication. Bus termination is neither required nor possible due to “middle” line interception.

  • Any combination of 5 to 8 data bits and 1 or 2 stop bits
  • Any parity odd/even/none
