Precision Resistor Board
Application scope
The Precision Resistor Board is used to convert current signals derived from current output DAC to very low level voltages. These voltages may be used to simulate thermo transducers or other active sensors that typically generate little output swings. Other possible applications may be piezo pressure transducers, etc.
Feature Highlights
- The PRB features up to eight (8) channels
- Precision I/U conversion
- Output under full control of ADS2 (level and frequency)
- Four (4) wire resistor technology
- Temperature matched PCB design utilizing TO220 resistor package and common copper temperature spreader
- Customized conversion in the range of 0.2 : 1 to 80 : 1 available
Precision up to ±0.01% and TK1 possible
Operational Modes
Each channel is stimulated by a DAC with a current signal. According to the I/U conversion a voltage signal proportional to the current is generated under ADS2 SW control.
